IMPRS Block Lectures

The principal idea of block lectures is to assemble a compact and very specialized lecture series into one block of 5 days. This offers not only a very compact and advanced lecture series for local students, but also students from Vienna could participate in lectures in Munich and the other way around. There were multiple IMPRS block lectures held, among them: “High-field and attosecond physics” in April 2007 in Munich, “Ultrafast laser-matter interactions” in February 2009 in Vienna, and "Selected topics in advanced photonics" in February 2015 in Munich.
