IMPRS Annual Meetings

The IMPRS-APS students meet every year to discuss the progress of their research and foster their interactions. So far the meetings took place at Frauenwoerth and Ringberg Castle, providing an atmosphere away from their daily lab routine in which the students can synthesize new thoughts and ideas. In particular new students can be integrated into the IMPRS by social interactions with other members of the research school.

The short presentation of the student´s research results enables them to learn about the topics that others are working on, to talk about their research and sometimes even motivate collaboration between different groups within the IMPRS. Importantly, the annual meeting provides a framework, where students gain confidence in the presentation and discussion of their research.
