My research interests fall into several subcategories of theoretical physics, all of them related to quantum computing.
In the area of quantum information theory, my main areas of study are quantification of entanglement, quantum error correcting codes and topological quantum computing.
In the area of condensed matter theory, my main areas of study are topological phases of nature described by field theories or the Curvature Renormalization Group approach (CRG). I am also very interested in the usage of CFTs to describe anyonic excitations suitable for quantum computing.
In the area of mathematical physics, I am very curious about the bulk-edge correspondence as well as applications of the AdS/CFT correspondence to condensed matter systems.
